Getting started

Create a role

The job wizard drafts the job description in English and Bangla, sets the criteria, builds the interview questions and publishes the role to your careers page.

01The job wizard

Choose New job. The wizard has nine steps and saves a draft as you type, so you can stop and come back.

  1. Role: pick a title from the role library or type your own, in English and Bangla.
  2. Questions: answer at least five short questions about the role. They feed the job description.
  3. Job description: SeekIQ drafts About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements and Benefits in English and Bangla side by side. Accept, reject or edit each section, choose a formal or friendly tone and run the bias check.
  4. Criteria: set must-haves and up to six weighted competencies that add up to 100, each with anchors for poor, adequate and exceptional answers.
  5. Facts sheet: pay, work mode, location, shift, benefits and the hiring process.
  6. Timeline: application deadline, the date the ranking is ready, the interview window and the decision date.
  7. Workflow: pick the stages this role uses.
  8. Interview: build the interview questions for each competency, review them and choose how many rotate.
  9. Publish: check the list, then choose Publish job.

02Interview questions and variants

Each competency gets several equivalent versions of its question, called variants. Every candidate hears one variant per competency, so answers stay comparable and no single wording gets rehearsed. All variants of a competency share its anchors.

In the Interview step, first pick the job's languages: English, Bangla, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Filipino, Spanish, Indonesian or Malay, as many as you need (English and Bangla until you change it). Then choose how many variants to generate for a competency (1 to 10) and whether to write them in all the job's languages or one. Each language is written natively, not translated word for word. Generating is free and uses no credits. Fair use allows up to 60 generated variants per job and 300 per workspace each calendar month, counting a variant in all its languages once; the step shows how many are left. Reusing approved variants never counts.

Candidates choose one of the job's languages before they start and can still change it at the device check or the warm-up, until the first question. The interview page, the interviewer's voice and the transcript follow that language; Arabic and Urdu pages read right to left. Scorecards, memos and the round 2 guide stay in English, with each quote in the words the candidate said.

New variants arrive as drafts. Review them with each language's text side by side, then edit, approve or remove each one. Only approved variants are asked. A variant that has already been asked cannot be edited, so the record keeps the wording candidates heard.

Set how many approved variants rotate per competency, or leave it at all approved. The earliest approved variants rotate first. The step shows which languages are covered: candidates can choose only a language in which every competency has an approved variant in rotation. A new role needs at least one covered language before its first publish. A role that is already live can always be edited and saved; it keeps interviewing with the approved questions it has, and the step says when a competency still needs one.

03Must-haves never reject on their own

A candidate who misses a must-have is marked on their record so you can see it. They are never rejected automatically unless the job's autopilot has a must-have rule your team switched on. Accent, appearance, age, gender, religion, tone of voice and emotion are never scored.

04What the facts sheet is for

At the end of the interview, candidates can ask about the role. The interviewer answers only from the facts sheet. Anything it does not cover goes to your team to answer, so keep it accurate.

05Where the role appears

Publishing opens applications on your careers page and adds structured data so the role can appear in Google's job search. You also get an apply link to share anywhere. To change a live role, edit it and choose Update posting.
